Requirements
  • Five (+) years J2EE framework and architecture expertise (Java 6, EJB, SERVLETS/APPLETS, JDBC & JMS)
  • Five (+) transactional database and SQL expertise (DB2, Oracle or SQL Server)
  • ORM tool experience (MyBatis, Entity Framework, Hibernate)
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP) expertise
  • Eclipse, IBM RAD or similar IDE proficiency
  • SOA architecture and web services internals experience
  • Design experience working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer)
  • Software implementation best practices knowledge
  • Version control systems knowledge (SVN or CVS or Clear Case)
  • Preferred Skills - Experience reverse engineering from one technology to another on a large scale HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • z/OS, TSO, JCL or other mainframe skills for use in legacy conversion reverse engineering
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
