SUMMARY
As a part of a team of experienced developers, this role will design and develop solutions to support D&H application portfolio. Primary responsibility includes technical design, development, testing, documentation and collaboration during all SDLC phases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop efficient solutions in a timely manner to the existing team and enterprise standards.
  • Participate in all SDLC phases (as requested) including requirements & design reviews, all aspects of development, code reviews & unit testing, integrated and performance testing, documentation and operational hand-off activities.
  • Perform post-production support, user support and cross team support activities as assigned.
  • Work independently or as a member on a project team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
  • Must work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload. These include but are not limited to:
    • Neuron ESB
    • Axway API Gateway
  • Keep work area neat, clean and hazard free.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and/or ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of contemporary .NET Development Stack(s) including
    • C# and/or F#, or equivalent object-oriented and functional programming languages such as Java, Scala, Swift, OCaml, etc.
    • Most recent .NET /.NET Core, .NET Framework
    • One or more Web application frameworks (Angular/React/Vue/etc.)
    • One or more ORM frameworks (EF Core, Dapper etc.)
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented and/or Functional Design Patterns, S.O.L.I.D. principles, Distributed Systems, Parallel Computing.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Database technologies, SQL (MS SQL Server) and NoSQL (Redis, Elasticsearch, Mongo DB).
  • Proven understanding of API design and API security including current versions of OpenAPI specifications, OAuth specifications and experience with API Gateway.
  • Experience in Middleware technologies, RabbitMQ.

  • Preferred

    • Knowledge of Distribution industry.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
  • Education
    • Four (4) year degree in Computer Science or related field of study
  • Experience
    • 7+ years of overall experience as a full stack developer in a large enterprise.
    • 5+ years development experience in specific technologies required for this position.
