Familiarity with development tools like Eclipse or IntelliJ, frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate, and experience with version control systems like Git are typically required. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills help you stand out by facilitating collaboration and efficient project delivery. What is a Java Developer W2 role?

A Java Developer W2 role refers to a Java development position where the employee is hired directly by a company or through a staffing agency as a W2 employee, rather than as a contractor (1099) or through a third-party vendor. In this role, the developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications. Being a W2 employee means the company handles payroll taxes, provides benefits, and withholds income taxes, offering more job security and potential benefits compared to independent contracting. Java Developers in this role typically work on projects involving web applications, enterprise services, or backend systems using Java technologies.
