The ideal candidate is a seasoned data professional with strong bias for action, data modeling, ETL, SQL and scripting skills. In this role you will help identify complex business problems, identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve Operations Finance facing systems, processes and tools. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, quick learner, comfortable with ambiguity, result oriented with strong attention to detail, insists on high standards, shows ability in decision making and ready to adapt in a fast paced business changing circumstances. You will be responsible for setting data modeling standards, building complex data pipelines, identify complex/abstract problems and discovering insights through the use of statistical, data mining and visualization techniques. Further, you will help automate processes by developing deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and dashboards to communicate these insights in real time to the business teams. You will be owning, maintaining and eventually migrating /automating legacy data pipelines + stacks that power key dashboards and reports that are actively consumed by Latam leadership
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
