Job description

Title: Developer - Supply Chain / Order Management Systems
  • Location: 100% REMOTE from Mexico or LATAM
Description: Our role is responsible for developing elegant, efficient solutions to significant business problems. This team focuses on systems enabling the Supply Chain, Order Management and data orchestration and integration. You will work to design and develop solutions to complex problems and find new and innovative ways to enable the business. To succeed in this role, you should love to code and delight in finding elegant ways to solve problems. You must have a positive attitude and enjoy problem-solving, both independently and in a team-oriented environment. Come join an energetic team where your input makes a difference, in a friendly environment that fosters creativity and collaboration. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Building new customizations for our Order Management, ERP, Supply Chain Execution and Supply Chain Visibility systems
  • Creating new system integrations using a variety of techniques; predominately using APIs or asynchronous messaging
  • Ensuring efficient, error free code - refactoring existing code as necessary
  • Writing supporting documentation for all development work
  • Creating unit and integration tests for all new features
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience writing and maintaining code in a commercial environment
  • Strong coding abilities - ability to write clear, concise, performant code
  • Very good Java Script skills with no dependency on front-end frameworks
  • Good communication skills - both verbal and written - in English
  • Strong understanding of SQL constructs and methods and how to navigate complex data structures
  • Ability to understand complex business processes
  • Experience in writing unit tests (Jasmine, Karma)
  • Experience in Agile methodologies
  • Some backend system integration experience preferred
  • An understanding of Shipping, Supply Chain Visibility, Supply Chain Execution and Logistics systems (both inbound and outbound) is a definite advantage
  • Curiosity into how things are done and why, with a natural desire to improve how things are done
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
