  • Develop backend business logic, data access components, and integration layers using Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle Database.
  • Write clean, secure, maintainable, and testable code that aligns with engineering standards.
  • Work with Oracle SQL, database schemas, stored procedures, indexes, constraints, and query tuning to support performance and data integrity.
  • Participate in solution design discussions, API definition, technical documentation, code reviews, and delivery planning.
  • Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments, including root-cause analysis and defect resolution.
  • Support application reliability, observability, and production readiness through logging, monitoring, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, DevOps, architects, and developers in an Agile environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on code quality, automation, performance, and delivery efficiency.
Skills
  • Strong experience with Java backend development and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Database and Oracle SQL.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and enterprise application development.
  • Ability to write secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues and supporting application stability.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in an Agile delivery model.
  • Strong collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience in banking, lending, payments, risk, compliance, or similar financial services environments.
  • Exposure to Spring Security, OAuth/OIDC, JWT, or API gateway patterns.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, GCP, or other cloud-native/containerized environments.
  • Knowledge of messaging or event-driven tools such as Kafka or IBM MQ.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Elastic, Grafana, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, automated deployments, and release management.
