Job description

The VEGA Americas co-op program is designed to give students real-world, hands-on experiences. This paid position allows students to use the knowledge they've learned in the classroom and apply it to everyday workplace scenarios. Co-ops are full members of their department with daily responsibilities, and graduates who complete the program will obtain new skills they can use in their careers.

We have a Fall 2026 Co-Op opportunity in Engineering!

As a Co-Op, you will work as part of an engineering team assisting in both design and production support activities. As you develop as an engineer, you will be working on detailing, drafting, testing, problem-solving and the design of our products. Activities typically include some of the following:

What you'll do:

  • 3D CAD Modeling
  • 2D Drawing Creation
  • Creating/Updating Drawings
  • Design
  • Product Prototyping and Evaluation
  • Creating/Improving Production Fixtures
  • Documentation

What you'll need:

  • Sophomore or beyond in a 4-year degree program
  • Must be able to work from our Mason office
