Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for banking applications and integrations.
• Develop Python scripts and services for automation, data processing, and system integrations.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka and messaging frameworks.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Develop secure, high-performance applications following banking industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, and cloud services.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and application troubleshooting.
• Monitor and support production applications, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Document technical designs, API specifications, and operational procedures.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Good to have experience to event-driven architecture using Kafka
Roles & Responsibilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, and Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful API development.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, backend services, API development (Flask/FastAPI), and data integration.
• Experience in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and PyTest.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analyti cal, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience preferred, with exposure to Payments, Retail Banking, Lending, Digital Banking, KYC/AML, or Regulatory Compliance.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year
