Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems that support our applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs using Spring Boot
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices, in accord with deadlines
Develop and optimize database queries; work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Debug and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs
Implement security and data protection measures in compliance with best practices
Ability to interact and work with customers remotely and in person as necessary
Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand and resolve support tickets and incidents
Responsible for timely documentation of customer interactions and workflow
Comply with and support Agile environment
Responsible for writing software programs to maintain and control computer systems, software for operating systems, networked systems, or database systems. Responsible for creating the software platform and then fine-tuning the final program after it has been made.
Modify existing software to correct errors to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software.
Develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
Advise customer about, or perform, maintenance of software system.
Required Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Java 11 and 17
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem (Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.)
Solid understanding of relational databases Microsoft SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
Experience with RESTful API development.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software development principles
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Hibernate / JPA experience
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to diagnose application issues and provide technical support
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from business systems analysis through requirements gathering and functional specification.
Ability to troubleshoot code and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
Knowledge of computer development languages such as SQL Java J2EE.

2-4 years experience
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in Java and Spring Boot
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Gradle)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
JMS/Messaging, XML, REST/SOAP
Degree in computer science relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
