A Japanese media company is seeking a Japanese bilingual Accounting & Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic and globally connected organization based in Washington, DC.
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 - 5:30
Salary: $46K - 50K (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable processes including invoice verification and payment execution
  • Perform daily expense tracking, bank reconciliation, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support monthly financial reporting and general ledger entries
  • Assist with payroll data preparation and coordination with external vendors
  • Oversee office administration including supplies, mail handling, and vendor coordination
  • Support contract management and fixed asset tracking
  • Coordinate logistics for internal operations, projects, and external activities
  • Provide administrative support for internal stakeholders and visiting staff
Qualifications:
  • Several years of experience in accounting support and/or office administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
