Job description

Job Summary:
Major Responsibilities
• Support Consultants in providing client services for an assigned book of global employee benefits business.
• Client services are defined as providing administrative, technical, analytical, and research support for Lockton's Global Benefits Practice and coordinating special projects as assigned.
• Leverage approved AI-enabled tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot and other enterprise-approved technologies) to improve efficiency, data analysis, document preparation, research, and workflow management while maintaining data privacy and compliance standards.
General Duties Include
1.Assist Consultants in preparation of client deliverables and materials, including but not limited to periodic status reports, financial and technical summaries, utilizing AI-enabled tools to improve accuracy, consistency, and productivity.
2.Assist Consultants in tracking project progress and timelines, maintaining client files, populating, and maintaining activity/issues trackers, and leveraging automation and AI-supported workflow tools to enhance project visibility and task management.
3.Support team members in addressing and resolving client issues involving claims, administration, compliance, and related matters through research, analysis, and the use of approved AI-assisted knowledge management and information retrieval tools.
4.Coordinate web events, webcasts, and conference call logistics, including producing meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action-item summaries, and follow-up communications utilizing AI-powered meeting productivity tools where appropriate.
5.Support the development of internal and client-facing documents and reports in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other business applications, incorporating AI-assisted drafting, presentation development, data summarization, and reporting capabilities.
6.Perform research as needed for internal projects utilizing various internet resources, trade publications, regulatory sources, and on occasion foreign-language sources; apply AI-assisted research tools to efficiently identify, summarize, and validate information from multiple sources.
7.Salesforce database management for client information, policy data, contacts, mailing lists, and other required data management duties, including identifying opportunities for improved data quality through AI-enabled analytics and automation.
8.Support client-facing technology tools by adding new users, providing basic troubleshooting.
9.Coordinate with other business service groups (IT, Office Services, Information Processing, Accounting, local offices, etc.) on various tasks using a partnership approach that facilitates high-quality results, efficient processes, and technology-enabled workflows.
10.Assist Consultants by liaising with local Lockton Global offices and partners as requested, utilizing AI-enhanced translation and communication tools where appropriate and approved.
11.Understand and adhere to set budgets by tracking time by project and identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
12.Participate in the adoption and continuous improvement of AI, automation, and digital productivity tools that support client service, operational excellence, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field, liberal arts, information systems, analytics, or equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
2. 2-3 years of working experience in a corporate environment preferred.
3. Fluency or professional proficiency in a foreign language helpful (Japanese or Korean preferred).
4. Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications with a heavy emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience utilizing Microsoft Copilot, generative AI tools, workflow automation platforms, CRM systems, or other productivity technologies is highly desirable.
5. Strong customer service skills with the ability to develop sound relationships with team members and external contacts.
6. Works well in a fast-paced environment and able to maintain deadlines while effectively leveraging technology to manage priorities and improve productivity.
7. Effective communication skills and comfort working with colleagues in a virtual and phone-based environment, including the ability to use AI tools responsibly to enhance communication, collaboration, and documentation.
8. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
9. Ability to think analytically, intuitively, assertively, creatively, and strategically, including the ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply sound business judgment.
10. Understanding of data privacy, confidentiality, and responsible use of AI technologies in a client-service environment preferred.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
1. Fluency or professional proficiency in a foreign language helpful (Japanese proficiency preferred).
2. Degree in international studies, business, analytics, information systems, or a related field is desired though not required.
3. Experience working or living abroad helpful though not required.
4. Experience using Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Salesforce AI, Power Automate, Power BI, or other AI-enabled business productivity tools preferred.
5. Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation to improve reporting, research, process efficiency, documentation quality, and overall client service delivery.
6. Familiarity with prompt design, AI-assisted research methods, and validation of AI-generated content in a professional services environment is a plus.
