Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Jr. Network Engineer to coordinate and assist Sr. Network Engineers in planning, design, and evaluation of new and existing computer network systems and services, including local area networks, wide area networks, intranets, voice over IP, video teleconferencing, and the Internet, providing analytical, technical, and administrative support. Assists Sr. Network Engineers in planning, development, and implementation of network policies and procedures to ensure network integrity as well as maintenance and modification projects to existing applications and services.
The mission of the MSTP is to: Train and Educate Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) and Marine Expeditionary Brigades (MEB) Command Elements to conduct operations across the range of military operations, within the context of a Joint, Combined, or Coalition environment.
Requirements
  • IAT Level II CyberSecurity Workforce DoD 8570.01.
  • Experience in Cisco Networking Devices (LAN/WAN).
  • Experience in configuration and troubleshooting networks, VOIP phones, Video-teleconferencing (VTC) systems.

Desired Skills/Qualifications
  • Junior Level - Cisco Certification (CCENT or CCNA), w/ 2+ years of Hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Normal Office Environment
