Job description

Overview
Six Flags Darien Lake is seeking energetic, reliable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Janitorial & Groundskeeping team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests. Team Members will help ensure the park, resort accommodations, and surrounding grounds meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities
Janitorial Duties:
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, guest areas, lodging accommodations, and common spaces
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the park and resort
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
  • Restock supplies (paper products, soap, toiletries, etc.)
  • Respond promptly to spills and guest service calls
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Groundskeeping Duties:
  • Maintain landscaping, lawns, flower beds, and walkways
  • Pick up litter and debris throughout park grounds
  • Operate basic landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)
  • Assist with seasonal planting and general outdoor upkeep
  • Support park beautification and special event preparation

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Preferred Skills:
