Janitors or cleaners are professionals responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and order in buildings such as schools, offices, hospitals, and public spaces. Their duties typically include sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash bins, and restocking supplies. Janitors may also perform minor maintenance tasks and report larger repair needs to management. Their work is essential for creating a safe and pleasant environment for building occupants.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a janitor or cleaner, and why are they important?

These skills ensure a safe, sanitary environment and contribute to the efficient and effective upkeep of facilities.
