Job Title: Janitor / Cleaner
Location: Orlando International Airport (MCO) – Multiple Sites and Posts
Company: Southeast Airport Services, Inc.
Pay Rate: Based on location, site, and post assignment
Reports To: Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager

Job Summary

Southeast Airport Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Janitors/Cleaners to join our airport operations team at Orlando International Airport. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout airport facilities to ensure a positive experience for passengers, tenants, and staff. Work assignments may be indoors or outdoors depending on operational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures
  • Maintain cleanliness of terminals, waiting areas, offices, and common spaces
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, elevator buttons, counters, and seating
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove debris from floors, stairwells, escalators, elevators, and sidewalks
  • Empty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
  • Operate janitorial equipment including mops, vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers
  • Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Monitor supply levels and notify supervisors when replenishment is needed
  • Report maintenance, safety hazards, or repair needs to management
  • Provide courteous assistance to airport passengers when approached
  • Follow all company, airport, OSHA, and sanitation safety procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Janitorial Supervisor or Operations Manager

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to speak and understand basic English for safety and work instructions
  • Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be punctual and maintain regular attendance
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position due to operational airport staffing requirements.
