About the Role:
As a Dishwasher at our Community Care Center in Torr, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, as well as following all infection control protocols. Your attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral instructions will be essential in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals in a safe and healthy environment. This role requires patience, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Experience in food service or assisted living preferred.
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in food handling or sanitation.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to relate well with others.
Responsibilities:
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Sweep or scrub floors.
  • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
