Job description

Position: Java Developer – Financial Services

Location: Austin, TX and Denver, CO

Long Term Contract

Interview Process: Virtual and then final In-person interview in Austin or Denver

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our financial services client’s technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills, hands-on Python and GCP experience, and solid financial domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
  • Develop supporting solutions and automation using Python.
  • Build, deploy, and support cloud-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Work with databases, APIs, and distributed systems to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services and cloud-native development.
  • Financial services/domain experience is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
