Description
Responsible for performance benchmarking, characterization of new connectivity features and improving Wi-Fi system performance on Apple platforms. Measure & analyze both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth system performance for various coexistence driven scenarios. Ability to build lab setups that simulate different system conditions. Ability to work on scripts and tools that aid in analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
You have domain expertise with the TCP/IP suite of protocols
You have deep knowledge of 802.11 MAC/PHY protocol with 8+ years relevant industry experience
You have strong experience with Python scripting
You're experienced with iPerf, Ixia, & Wireshark
Exposure to interaction with AI/ML tools to streamline data analysis and triaging of issues
Debug and analysis of issues by examining different layers of the protocol stack
Understand impact of interference on Wi-Fi and BT performance
Preferred Qualifications
Software engineering experience with C, Objective-C, C++ is highly preferred
You thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams
You are obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
