As a Physical Therapy Resident at Ivy Rehab, you will be a full-time employee as you complete the Ivy Rehab and Hospital for Special Surgery Orthopedic Residency Program. You have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of orthopedic patients. Job Description:

Physical Therapy Orthopedic Resident / (Full-time, 40hours/week)

Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy - Outpatient Orthopedic

Ivy Rehab & Hospital for Special Surgery Physical Therapy Orthopedic Residency Program

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ADMISSIONS CRITERIA:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Program

  • Active PT licensure in current state of practice,prior toResidency start date

  • Employed as a Full-timeTherapistfor at least 3 monthsby Ivy Rehab Network, prior to theprogram start date.

  • Required membership inassociated professional organizationby the start of the residency

  • Commitment to successfully completing all program requirements including independent study

  • Commitment to takingthe ABPTSOrthopedicClinicalSpecialistexam at earliesteligibility

  • Commitment to a minimum of two years of continued employment at Ivy Rehab, post-graduation from program

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion of all requireddidacticmodules(300+ hours)

  • Completion of allassessments,logsand forms

  • Completion of Live Patient Examinations

  • Satisfactory completion of all skills lists

  • Passing of all required quizzes

  • Satisfactory completion of required presentations

  • Completion of case report abstract

  • Completion of Residency Special Project

  • Completion of 150 mentor hours

  • Complete a minimum of 1,500 patient care hours during residency year

  • Attendance and participation in all scheduled residency education events

  • Satisfactory achievement of all resident core competencies

FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS:

  • Program Tuition: $5,500

  • This can be paid in full -or- over a 1- or 2-year payment plan through paycheck deductions

  • As a full-time employee of Ivy Rehab, each program participant willmaintaintheir salarycommensuratewithhours worked/week andmaintaintheir benefits during the length of the program

  • 2-year employment commitment post-graduation to satisfy the financial investment Ivy contributes to eachparticipant
