We are a fast-growing Licensed Home health company specializing in infusion therapy in the home setting. We are seeking Registered Nurses throughout the DFW area to service our patients receiving IV therapy in the home setting.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be creating and managing a plan of care for individual patients. You are a Registered Nurse (RN) who operates with great attention to detail and a big heart. You take pride in creating personalized care plans for patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest. To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as a strong penchant for solving problems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with other colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.

Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes.

Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with supervisor.

Performs venipuncture, accesses implanted ports and maintains central lines catheter devices.

Administers all medications: IVIG, SCIG, Factor 8, Antibiotics, TPN or others indicated following ordered dosage/amount, route, time and technique.

Demonstrates knowledge of ambulatory infusion pump use and maintenance, cleaning pumps after use, and proper documentation of pump usage.

Facilitates dose modification by assessing patient, assessing labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting physician regarding dosage modifications.

Qualifications

Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse. Previous infusion nurse experience preferred.

Excellent IV skills.

Excellent interpersonal and client care skills

Valid driverโ€™s license

First aid/CPR certification required.
