Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Nursing / Acute Care RN / Night Shift RN
Location: Onsite – Pikeville, KY
Duration: 8 Weeks Contract

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) providing acute care nursing, patient monitoring, and clinical interventions in a medical nursing unit.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process in acute care and medical-surgical settings
  • Perform head-to-toe assessments, reassessments, and clinical evaluations
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, IV drips, and transfusion therapy
  • Manage cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, sedation, and pain management
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure care including cardiac cath recovery
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families, supervise staff, and support care planning
