Join Our Imaging Team!
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a temporary contract assignment in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to work a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Position Details:
  • Job Type: Temporary / Contract.
  • Location: Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
  • Shift: Days.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (8-hour shifts).
  • Alternative Schedule: Potential for 4 x 10-hour shifts after orientation.
  • Weekends: None.
  • Holidays: None.
  • On-Call: None.
  • EMR: Epic.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging using gamma cameras, SPECT, and PET equipment.
  • Start IVs and administer medications using aseptic technique.
  • Perform quality control and routine maintenance on nuclear medicine equipment.
  • Follow NRC regulations and ALARA radiation safety principles.
  • Accurately document patient care and procedures in Epic EMR.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience.
  • Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA).
  • Experience with gamma cameras, SPECT, PET, dose calibrators, and IV insertion.
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and quality control procedures.
