Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – IV Certified
Gilbert, AZ

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our growing healthcare team in Gilbert, AZ. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while supporting providers and clinical staff.

About the Role
The EMT will support providers and the clinical team by assisting with patient care, gathering medical information, performing clinical tasks, and responding to both emergency and non-emergency situations. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information
  • Prepare exam and procedure rooms to ensure efficiency and readiness
  • Start IVs and administer medications as directed by the provider
  • Collect and properly label laboratory specimens for testing
  • Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
  • Educate patients on procedures, medications, and provider instructions
  • Support post-procedure care, including patient instructions and IV discontinuation
  • Maintain cleanliness of instruments and properly dispose of contaminated materials
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency situations and provide Basic Life Support (BLS) as needed
  • Assist in evaluating patient conditions and support life-saving interventions when necessary
  • Follow all established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
