Job description

All 5’s Construction is searching for a Process Controls Manager to join our team in Las Vegas, NV!

The Process Controls Manager will monitor and support daily Vista ERP by Viewpoint operations. This position is responsible for providing projects support for the Vista application as well as training new employees on Vista by Viewpoint, training employees on new and add-on modules in Vista by Viewpoint, as well as working closely with Operational team leads, Preconstruction, and Accounting to provide support for their jobsite business functions.

An All 5’s Process Controls Manager is also responsible for:

  • Assisting the Project Manager Management Team in setting up the following:
    • Contract Items and Bill Groups.
    • Phase codes and cost types.
    • Phase code to contract Item association.
    • Project budget.
  • Performing project level audit to assess the extent to which project management standards are being upheld. 
  • Offering support in identifying and resolving problems to project teams as they relate to:
    • Pending change orders.
    • PM Approved Changes.
    • JC Change Orders.
    • Progress billings.
    • Subcontracts.
    • Subcontract change orders.
    • Add-on issues.
  • Assist in maintaining accuracy of cost reports.
  • Assisting in providing training to new Project Managers as it relates to project startup, phase code setup, budget imports, contract item imports, contract item setup, bill groups, change order management, interfacing, progress billings, and allocations.
  • Assisting in providing training to Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers helping Project Managers in project setup, phase code setup, budget imports, contract item imports, contract item setup, bill groups, change order management, interfacing, progress billings, and allocations.
  • Coordinate with corporate process controls developing custom open database connectivity (ODBC) reports to assist Project Executive, Project Manager, and Contract Administrator with Owner requests.

  • Degree in Construction Management or Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience using Vista by Viewpoint
  • General knowledge of the construction industry
  • Strong job cost and accounting background
  • High competency with MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to actively listen to and understand concerns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize issues, and monitor and report on progress.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • A self-starter with the ability to fulfill a variety of functions without direct supervision in a dynamic and demanding environment.
  • Investigation and diagnostic skills (be like Sherlock Holmes).
