The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00

Here, you'll lead and evolve the Target+ Item operational capability, enabling T+ marketplace growth, T+ Business Partner success, and scalable operations. You will directly lead and oversee a multi-functional team responsible for the end-to-end management of Target+ item data and content, ensuring a high-quality catalog that helps guests easily discover, evaluate, and purchase products on Target.com.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Enterprise Item, Product, Digital, and T+ Marketplace teams to drive operational excellence, improve catalog quality, and implement scalable processes that support a growing T+ marketplace business. Through strong leadership, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making, you'll deliver meaningful outcomes for our guests, T+ Business Partners, and the broader Target+ ecosystem.

  • Lead a Global Item/Catalog operations team that is responsible for E2E Target+ Item management, driving an exceptional guest experience through the creation and management of complete, accurate, and relevant Item data & content for Target+.

  • Support Target+ Business Partners throughout the Item management lifecycle, promoting procedural best methods and Item data & content standards

  • Develop and support the team through on-the-job experience, relevant feedback, visibility and recognition.

  • Establish and maintain a strong partnership with Target in India T+ Item Data Managers, aligning on key priorities and work distribution to achieve expected outcomes.

  • Establish cross-functional partnerships with Enterprise Item, T+ & Digital, and Product teams & leadership to ensure alignment on strategies, planning, and outcomes.

  • Deliver expected outcomes by establishing team priorities, monitoring team and functional performance, and advancing overall Target+ Item operational capabilities through prioritized process and tool improvements.

  • Establish and monitor operational objectives & key results that are aligned with Target's strategic priorities, T+, and Enterprise Item objectives.

  • Participate in other Enterprise Item & T+ initiatives and efforts as assigned.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 6+ years of retail and/or e-commerce experience.

  • 2+ years of people leadership, team leadership, or direct management experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while balancing team, partner, and business needs.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of driving results through execution, prioritization, resource management, and accountability.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.

  • Experience collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Ability to influence decisions, strategies, and roadmaps without direct authority or ownership.

  • High degree of initiative, adaptability, and resilience, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, risk, changing priorities, and evolving business needs.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decisions and drive outcomes.

  • Understanding of item data, product content management, and digital commerce ecosystems.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
