Job Responsibilities:
  • Designing custom solutions using the item machine building kit using the item Engineeringtool and Solid Edge.
  • Transfer drawings into company enterprise resource planning system (ERP-System) to create quotes for customers.
  • Technical Support and specialization for the item Engineeringtool.
  • Work with the sales team to provide best solutions for customers and participate in meetings.
  • Prepare customer orders for production.
  • Quality control of peer designs and production documentation.
  • Administrative tasks and communication between the headquarters in Germany, item LLC and distributors.
  • CAD Maintenance.
  • Technical and product training as required.
  • Candidate will report to the Engineering Manager.

Requirements
  • College degree with a major in engineering or a comparable degree or experienced mechanical Technician.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with CAD Software (Solid Edge / Solidworks / Inventor, etc) preferred.
  • Analytical skills and a business focused approach.
