This role will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, and execution while leading and developing the culinary team. The Chef de Cuisine will help drive kitchen efficiency, maintain high culinary standards, and bring creativity and innovation to Parc’s culinary offerings.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Lead daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, service, and staff supervision.• Partner with the Executive Chef on menu execution, recipes, and seasonal offerings.• Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation.• Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members.• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.• Manage inventory, ordering, product utilization, and food costs.• Maintain an efficient kitchen workflow during high-volume service.• Address operational challenges and ensure smooth service.• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and accountability within the kitchen.QUALIFICATIONS• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive culinary experience, including experience as a Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or similar leadership role.Previous experience in an Italian restaurant or concept, with demonstrated expertise in authentic Italian cuisine, menu development, and kitchen leadership.• Experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hospitality environment.• Strong culinary, leadership, and team management skills.• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory, and cost control.• Experience training and mentoring culinary staff.• Strong communication and organizational skills.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.• ServSafe certification required.• Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORAt ELIA, we use our unique experience and contributions to deliver more than value – we set new standards!
