Compensation: Hourly Wage + Tips (Tip Pool)
Company: Olio Italian is an upscale, Italian dining concept with a full bar and private event space. Our experience offers guests an authentic sampling of Italian cuisine, as well as Old and New World Wines, available to be served family style or by individual order.
Job Description: The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting an excellent dining experience for guests of Olio Italian, delivering guest orders accurately and promptly, knowledgeably answering any guest questions and demonstrating dedication to guest satisfaction.
Job Purpose: To ensure guest satisfaction during their dining experience, by providing genuine hospitality and maintaining a clean and safe dining space for guests to enjoy.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to bus/pre-bus with or without support staff
Reliable transportation to and from work
Works days, nights, holidays and/or weekends as required
Ability to use concise language to communicate between guests and BOH
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Must have problem solving abilities, be attentive to details and able to multi-task
Commitment to quality serve food and beverage
Ability to provide excellent customer service for all tables in Olio Italian
Has a willingness to learn and master our menu, steps of service, and standards

Transport dishes, bus tubs, and/or trays from dish washing area to any table in the restaurant and vice versa
Job Tasks:
Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and provide excellent guest experiences
Inform guests of any Limited Time Offers or promotions (Happy Hour)
Proficient knowledge of all food and beverage menus with knowledge of allergies and aversions
Walking new guests through our dining concept with concise explanation
Maintain guest interaction with filling of beverages, waters, and bread
Create and sustain regulars with focus on building rapport
Understand and communicate with managers regarding guest experience to repair any damaged guest experiences
Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and Federal/State/Local laws
Delivering food and beverage orders to guests
Ensure restaurant operations are running smoothly by completing all "Jolt" checklists and assigned side-work in a timely manner
Able to act with initiatives in planning for future and possible consequences
Pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both guests and team members
Safely handling food, and maintaining general cleanliness of Olio Italian
Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor throughout the entirety of shift
Comply to all manager requests for any cleaning tasks or other duties
Complete training programs and attend classes as directed
Demonstrating flexibility and willingness to perform tasks outside of an assigned position
Remove used service dishes and utensils to bus tubs in BOH in a prescribed manner.
Clean and reset a table according to standing operating procedure within one minute.
Properly and efficiently change CO2 and soda dispensers.
Showcase ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and always maintain calm conduct .
