Evolver is seeking an IT Imaging Technician with strong customer service skills to support laptop provisioning, imaging, and deployment activities for a federal customer. This position is part of an IT team supporting approximately 10,000 users throughout the National Capital Area. Responsibilities include applying approved baseline images, installing and configuring software based on organizational requirements, preparing devices for deployment, maintaining asset records, and supporting deployment activities.

This position is performed on-site during normal operating hours (weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply customer-approved baseline images to laptops and workstations in preparation for deployment.
  • Install, configure, and validate software applications based on organizational and user-specific requirements.
  • Verify user account information and ensure devices are configured in the appropriate Organizational Unit (OU) prior to deployment.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure systems meet customer standards and deployment requirements.
  • Coordinate with other IT support teams to ensure device readiness and compatibility with enterprise systems.
  • Prepare equipment for deployment, including laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and associated peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and deployment-related issues using established procedures and documentation.
  • Follow established imaging, deployment, and asset management processes and procedures.
  • Update and maintain ticket, deployment, and asset records within ServiceNow and other authorized systems.
  • Document deployment activities, system configurations, and issues encountered during the provisioning process.
  • Adhere to organizational security policies, configuration standards, and asset management requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of fulfillment and deployment operations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience supporting workstation and laptop imaging, provisioning, or deployment activities.
  • 1 year of experience applying standardized system images and configuring devices for end-user deployment.
  • 1 year of experience installing and validating software applications in accordance with customer requirements.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • US Citizen with the ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of hardware, software, and network connectivity troubleshooting related to device deployment.
  • Familiarity with IT service management practices and ticketing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and established deployment processes.
