**This class of Pathfinders will start on October 8, 2026. The class will be focused on developing Operations Leaders, The Residents eventually land at one of our Profit Centers and NOT in a Corporate department position.*


Role Overview:

Riverstoneโ€™s Management Trainee (Pathfinder) Program is designed to develop future leaders in our organization. This structured program provides hands-on experience across various business functions, equipping trainees with the skills and knowledge necessary for leadership roles. Trainees will participate in rotational assignments, receive mentorship, and undergo professional development to prepare them for managerial responsibilities. This role is meant to develop future leaders in the field of operations and other areas of a 3PL business. The training program is a 12-month rotational program with formal assessments conducted on progression and demonstrated proficiencies at several different intervals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Participate in a structured rotational training program across different departments such as Operations, Brokerage, Finance, and Customer Service.
  • Learn and oversee core 3PL operations, including warehousing, distribution, inventory management, freight brokerage, and last-mile delivery.
  • Drive, maintain, and evangelize the Company culture, purpose, and core beliefs through hands-on training effective collaboration with Extra Milers (our employees) across the organization.
  • Gain hands-on experience by working on real business projects and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Learn and implement company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business operations and contribute to company growth.
  • Assist in developing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and mentors to receive guidance and career coaching.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential through performance, innovation, and teamwork.
  • Successfully complete assessments and evaluations throughout the program.
  • Support RLX leaders in the enforcement of company compliance standards.
  • Learn from and support RLX leaders in ensuring client quality and service standards are met.
  • Ensure the planning and scheduling of distribution services are executed in a timely manner.
  • Manage and perform activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, along with strong follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, and sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with customers, employees, peers, and management.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, workgroups, customers, supervisors)
  • Work self-directed with minimal supervision
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate, and self-driven to excel, in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to and embrace new technology
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel specifically)
  • Ability to travel across Riverstoneโ€™s network of locations as needed to support Field and/or Service Center Operations
