Position/Title: I.T. SYSTEMS ANALYST II
Date: August 13, 2026
Location: Early, Texas Preferred/Candidates Within Association Territory Considered
Salary: Range begins at $64,000 but is commensurate with experience and qualifications
Central Texas Farm Credit is seeking an I.T. Systems Analyst II to deploy and support the Association's information technology hardware and software systems. This role leads installation, maintenance, asset management, and end-user support activities, partners with management on technology planning and purchases, and helps implement and enforce I.T. security and disaster recovery practices to ensure reliable, secure operations across the organization.
The preferable location for this position is at the Association's administrative headquarters in Early, Texas. Qualified candidates currently located or willing to relocate within, or reasonably near, the Association's service territory will be considered. Applicant must be willing to relocate if residency is not within a reasonable distance from our established territory. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered for qualified candidates currently located or willing to relocate within, or reasonably near, the Association's service territory, subject to business needs, management approval, and applicable Association policies.

Job Purpose and Scope:
Responsible for deploying information technology hardware and software systems for the Association. Assignments are complex in nature requiring originality, ingenuity, and leadership; has appreciable latitude for decision making; works under minimum supervision.
Essential Functions:
• Assists management in the planning process by determining IT resource needs and alternatives.
• Researches products and vendors to stay abreast of evolving technologies/equipment and incorporate needs, functionality, costs, and efficiency into technology purchases.
• Develops association standards for equipment purchases to complement district network needs and establish cost-effective replacement practices for periodic replacement of equipment.
• Purchases, manages, maintains and inventories the I.T. assets of the association. Researches available enhancements to the I.T. system that will promote operational and cost efficiencies in delivering credit and related services of the association.
• Leads and coordinates the installation/maintenance of I.T. hardware and software resources, as well as providing end user support.
• Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties and service agreements.
• Offers support and training to association employees in the use of computer hardware and/or software. Acts as a liaison between association employees and Farm Credit Bank of Texas (FCBT) or other providers of I.T. training or services.
• Assists management in developing, implementing and enforcing I.T. security procedures.
• Leads and coordinates disaster recovery planning and testing processes and administers data retention/recovery efforts.
• Assists management in developing and maintaining written documentation of operating procedures for internally developed software products.
• Provides for management and maintenance of the association's intranet and assists in development and maintenance of the association's website.
Summary of Desired/Required Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) plus five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience deploying, supporting, and maintaining enterprise IT hardware and software in a multi-location environment. Demonstrated knowledge of Windows endpoints/servers, networking fundamentals, identity/access practices, and IT security controls. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues using structured problem-solving (diagnosis, research, analysis, remediation, and root-cause documentation). Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including administration/support), endpoint management, and standard IT service practices (asset tracking, licensing, and vendor coordination). Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users, deliver end-user training, and maintain clear operational documentation. Experience supporting disaster recovery and data retention/recovery processes preferred.
