Job description

IT Support Specialist

Voyager is an innovative defense, national security and space technology company committed to advancing and delivering transformative, mission-critical solutions. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our employees have state-of-the-art, always-on, always working IT solutions. The position reports to the IT Operations Director and is part of the IT department. Role will be primarily based in Pueblo with a continuing time-split between our Pueblo, CO and Penrose, CO locations.

In this role, the essential functions are:

  • Provide high-level customer support with a focus on ownership and follow-through with every interaction
  • Work closely with the corporate Information Technology, Applications, and Information Security teams to ensure enterprise solutions will enable the Voyager team to execute business tasks.
  • Design, document, deploy, and support a wide range of technologies used by the Voyager team.
  • Manage schedules and provide after-hours and weekend support when necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of enterprise service desk experience managing IT support tickets.
  • 1 + years of experience in executive IT support
  • Experience with Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Outlook, ActiveSync, Microsoft SharePoint Server, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Slack, Teams, Zoom, and other video conferencing technologies.
  • Experience with Halo and/or Okta

Travel, Physical and/or Government Mandated Requirements:

  • Ability to travel between our Pueblo, CO and Penrose, CO locations
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends when needed
  • Ability to lift, move or carry items or equipment up to 30 pounds

The good faith base salary range for this role is $65,000–$85,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
