Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
Additional Information:
Student employee will support current sustainable agriculture research projects with field work, lab work, and assist with grant deliverables as needed. This job offers a great deal of variety in tasks and projects. A day's work might include collecting forage samples and in-field data, assisting with semi-structured interviews of research participants, data entry and cleaning, event or conference logistics, taking photos and video, updating website content, or creating and posting social media content. Tasks can be catered to existing skills and interests with supported opportunities for further skill development. 50% Sample and data collecting and data entry 50% Event and project communication support
