Job description

Coho Consulting Group is seeking an IT Strategy Consultant to support federal clients with technology modernization, business process improvement, and cloud migration planning. The candidate will work with senior client stakeholders to assess current operations, develop future-state processes, and create decision frameworks that support the future hybrid cloud, application migration, and IT modernization efforts.

This role is considered remote (DMV area preferred), minimal travel to Ft. Meade, MD

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Develop and document current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Create decision frameworks and evaluation criteria for application migration to the cloud.
  • Support business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and IT investment recommendations.
  • Translate business needs into practical IT strategy recommendations and implementation roadmaps.
  • Analyze organizational processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Clearance
    • Active Secret security clearance
  • Education and Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Required Experience:
    • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT strategy, business process improvement, management consulting, or technology modernization.
    • Experience working with senior clients or stakeholders.
    • Experience developing business cases, decision frameworks, or strategic recommendations.
    • Experience documenting and improving business processes.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
