Immediate need for a talented IT Risk & Controls Analyst. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Owings Mill, MD (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $35 - $40/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementing and auditing technology policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Duties include developing and enforcing technology standards and regulations, assessing risk, and supporting the implementation of technology controls
  • Performs standard risk assessments, monitors and reports policy and controls compliance
  • Facilitates and leads audit and compliance activities of high complexity or across multiple business units, including gathering technology controls evidence
  • Participates in the preparation of materials for external audiences and delivers review sessions
  • Coordinates with technology and risk management partners to track and remediate control gaps or findings
  • Work collaboratively in a global team responsible for identifying technology risks and developing technology controls and supporting processes to align with regulatory requirements
  • Ability to break down complex or vague problems and step through them in a rational way
  • Able to evolve a decision as new information is gained
  • Find opportunities for process improvements
  • Assists in implementing new controls and processes as technologies, risks, and regulations evolve
