Job description

Help People Find a Home. Get Paid Well to Do It.
UMoveFree is seeking a highly motivated Apartment Locator to join our team focused on the Houston and Austin markets to help renters find their ideal apartment. As part of our team, we will provide you with leads from millions of renters who have used our award-winning service. Your primary role will be to follow up with these leads, provide exceptional customer service, and assist them in finding their dream home.
We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy engaging with others and want a full-time role that actually supports them. No desk fees. No leads you're expected to hunt down yourself. No commission-only setup dressed up as an opportunity.
Our support staff handles the back-end so you can focus on what you're best at - helping renters find homes. You'll have guaranteed income, real benefits, and a team behind you from day one.
Who We Are
Sigma Relocation Group has been serving renters in Texas for over 20 years and is still growing. Our flagship brand, UMoveFree Apartment Locators/UMoveFree.com, is the largest and most popular apartment finding service in Texas with operations throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth, Greater Houston, Greater San Antonio and Greater Austin areas. Our service is free to renters, and we are paid a referral fee from the apartment where they lease.
Learn more at www.UMoveFree.com and www.SigmaRelocation.com.
What Sets Us Apart
  • Guaranteed income including base pay + bonuses - no commission-only guesswork
  • W2 employment - and we cover a large portion of your payroll taxes
  • 180+ warm leads per month - every one of our leads is a renter already registered on our site
  • Support: Our 20 person support staff handles everything including invoicing, collections, moves, rebates, tech support, IT, HR, advertising / marketing, and more. Need help? We have a person for that.
  • Proprietary technology to help you manage thousands of clients with ease.

Locator Responsibilities
  • Help renters find apartments that match their rental preferences
  • Work 180+ new leads per month (we provide the leads)
  • Maintain your database of prospects (past, present and future) using our proprietary software
  • Close leases and achieve quarterly sales quotas
  • Build strong relationships with property managers and leasing agents to ensure accurate and up-to-date apartment listings.
  • 100+ calls per day. Frequent follow up via phone, email and text message
  • Stay up-to-date on apartment market trends and rental rates in assigned areas.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements
  • Texas Real Estate License
  • 1+ years of of consecutive Apartment Locating experience
  • Familiarity with Houston or Austin's Multifamily Market
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Comfort with technology is a must. Our work is done on a computer, and you should be able to get yourself up and running without hand-holding - logging in, navigating browsers, managing passwords, and figuring things out as they come up.

90-Day Introductory Period
We want this to be the right fit - for you and for us. That's why every new hire, regardless of experience, begins with a 90-day introductory period.
Think of it as a mutual investment. You're evaluating whether this role, this team, and this company are the right move for your career. We're doing the same. Ninety days gives both sides enough real experience to make that call with confidence.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and real benefits
  • Equity participation in Employer's Stock Option Plan.
  • Flexible Scheduling - Set your own schedule (37 hours / 5 days per week minimum)
  • Generous Paid Time Off, Personal Leave, and Paid Holidays
  • Work/Life Balance - We promote a healthy work/life balance by getting all of our work done in a standard 40 hour work week. Leave work at work.
