Job description

Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager 
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA(Hybrid)
Duration :Long Term

Lead complex infrastructure and security projects that enhance the reliability, performance, and protection of IT systems. Work closely with engineering, operations, security teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and resilient infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage technical projects spanning infrastructure (cloud, network, systems) and security domains end to end—planning, execution, delivery.
Define project scope, objectives, timeline, budgets, deliverables, and success metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess risks, and design technical solutions.
Oversee deployment of security technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, endpoint protection) and infrastructure upgrades.
Manage third-party vendors, contracts, licensing, and procurement for infrastructure/security components.
Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
Report status, risks, influences to senior management and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC, regulatory), perform audits, and recommend improvements.
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Implement best practices and continuous improvements in project execution, technical integration, and security posture.
 
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Hands on experience of project management experience in infrastructure and security environments.
Strong technical expertise in areas such as cloud platforms, network architecture, identity management, endpoint and perimeter security.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure management, virtualization, storage, and security technologies.
Project management certification (PMP, Agile ScrumMaster, PRINCE2) preferred.
Security certification (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, etc.) highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, risk assessment, vendor negotiation.
