RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an IT Project Manager Lead responsible for strategic alignment, governance, and delivery excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Oversees complex, high-impact projects or programs that span multiple departments or business units
* Acts as a key liaison between executive leadership and project teams, ensuring that initiatives support organizational goals
* Plays a role in mentoring and developing PMO talent
Duties:
* Lead enterprise-scale, cross-functional programs and projects independently, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and delivering measurable business outcomes (10%)
* Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment (10%)
* Oversee portfolio-level governance, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, to drive effective execution and maximize return on investment (10%)
* Mentor and develop project management talent, including coaching junior project managers to build capability and strengthen PMO maturity (10%)
* Drive adoption and continuous improvement of PMO methodologies, tools, and best practices, promoting consistency and operational excellence across the organization (10%)
* Provide strategic portfolio reporting and insights, including KPIs, project health, and alignment to business objectives, for senior leadership decision-making (10%)
* Apply strong business acumen to support business partners, identifying opportunities to leverage technology solutions that enable and advance strategic goals (10%)

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or other relevant degree from an accredited college or university; In lieu of a Bachelors degree, an additional 2 years of experience may be considered
* PMP Certification required
* CAPM, Agile certification preferred or Professional Engineer license, where applicable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
