IT Project Manager

Duration: Long Term (1–2 Years)

Location: Gloucester, MA

Job Overview:

Lead the IT workstream for a new warehouse implementation supporting an equipment manufacturing environment. Responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery of warehouse technology and systems enablement.

Experience:

Prior experience managing at least two IT projects focused on logistics, warehouse enablement, or automation.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

Working knowledge of warehouse automation solutions, including Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and conveyor systems.

Experience integrating Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) or Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) with SAP EWM.

Understanding of network enablement requirements for new building implementations.

Experience managing IT project budgets and financial tracking.

Experience working with internal and external project stakeholders.

Ability to lead and coordinate teams of functional and technical analysts.

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders and IT leadership.
