Job description

  • Title: IT Project Manager II
  • Location: Austin, TX | Remote - but MUST be in the Texas region for occasional travel to site.
  • Pay Rate: $62 /Hr on W2
  • Type & Duration:12 plus months contract possibility of extension based on demand.
 
Scope of Position:
  • The IT Project Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and organizational skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The IT Project Leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and align with business objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Lead project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations. Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints. Track project expenses and provide regular financial reports.
