Job Location – Santa Monica, CA (5 days a week, onsite)

Type - Contract to hire

Pay Rate – $75-85/hr - W2 contract / $150K - salary (W2 Only)

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives supporting a fast-paced film and television studio. This role will manage projects from initiation through implementation and hypercare, partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and content operations. Ideal candidate will have recent project experience with Snowflake platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end IT projects across cloud/infrastructure, enterprise applications, data & analytics, digital asset management, and system integrations.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales & Planning, Business & Legal Affairs, Content Operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and define project scope and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and service providers.
  • Manage cloud migrations, software implementations, ERP/application integrations, and technology rollouts.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate milestones, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders.
  • Support UAT, training, deployment, and post-launch/hypercare activities.
  • Develop workflow/process and data-movement diagrams to support solution design.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system efficiency.
  • Ensure projects comply with security, data governance, and content/rights requirements.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, ideally within media, entertainment, studio, or technology environments.
  • Experience managing enterprise applications, infrastructure/cloud, data, or system integration projects.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud/data environments.
  • Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred
  • Film, television, studio, media, or content-distribution experience.
  • Knowledge of digital media supply chains, rights/licensing, content management, or distribution workflows.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, Rightsline, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Cloud certification, PMP, MBA, or advanced technical/business degree is a plus.
