About The Role

The main function of an IT Project Manager is to successfully plan, execute, implement, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope. The IT Project Manager will provide oversight, drive resources, and steer the delivery of assigned IT projects. Operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative, in‑office environment, you will bridge the gap between high‑level business goals and technical execution.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, manage, and close IT projects, ensuring on‑time delivery, adherence to scope, and alignment with budget and schedule constraints.
  • Develop project plans, encompassing resources, timelines, milestones, and budgets, and share them with project stakeholders.
  • Manage project scope by identifying and addressing changes during the project lifecycle through proper change management.
  • Coordinate with resources to ensure timely completion of all project tasks.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks and develop contingency plans when necessary.
  • Monitor and track project progress, prepare project status reports, and facilitate status meetings for managers and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Lead with strong communication skills, inspiring participants across all levels and fostering collaboration towards a shared objective.
  • Evaluate project performance, recommend improvements for future projects, and ensure lessons learned are documented and shared with the team.
  • Maintain and update all project documentation as required, in compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with senior members of the team to analyze project data and assist with making informed decisions regarding project direction and execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • PMP certification required within the first two years of joining the company.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of relevant project management experience.
  • Knowledgeable in basic project management principles and practices (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
  • Fundamental knowledge and basic understanding of IT functions and data center operations, including networking architecture – IPv4 and OSI model, firewalls, routing and switching, unified communications systems; storage architecture – on‑premise or cloud VMs, physical servers, storage systems.
  • Exceptional oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑starter, analytical thinker, and problem solver, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong people and leadership skills, able to drive/motivate cross‑functional technical teams to accomplish tasks amidst various challenges and tight timelines.
  • Enthusiastic and accountable, coupled with a commitment to quality in all project work.

Salary

Typical base salary range for this position is $52,500 to $77,000. Final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education, and certifications.
