Trex is seeking a seasoned Senior IT M&A Integration Program Manager to establish and lead the enterprise IT capability supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic business integrations.
This role is responsible for developing and owning the Trex IT M&A Playbook and leading the planning, governance, and execution of all technology integration activities across the entire M&A lifecycle. The successful candidate will serve as the enterprise integration leader for IT, partnering with business and technology leaders to ensure acquisitions are integrated efficiently, consistently, and with minimal business disruption.
Primary Responsibilities
Build and Own the Enterprise IT M&A Playbook
Develop and continuously improve Trex's standardized approach for technology integration by:
  • Designing enterprise IT integration methodologies, governance, templates, checklists, and stage gates.
  • Creating repeatable planning frameworks, work breakdown structures, and implementation standards.
  • Standardizing Day 1 readiness, integration planning, and stabilization activities.
  • Capturing lessons learned and incorporating continuous improvements after every acquisition.
  • Maintaining reusable playbooks for acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and business integrations.

Lead Technology Due Diligence
Partner with Corporate Development and business leadership to evaluate technology implications of potential acquisitions.
Responsibilities include:
  • Assessing enterprise architecture and technology maturity.
  • Evaluating infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, networks, engineering platforms, cloud environments, and data landscapes.
  • Identifying integration complexity, technical debt, operational risks, TSA requirements, and separation considerations.
  • Estimating integration effort, costs, timelines, staffing requirements, and synergy opportunities.
  • Presenting technology findings and recommendations to executive leadership.

Lead Enterprise Integration Planning
Develop and maintain the integrated technology master plan covering every phase of execution.
Responsibilities include:
  • Building comprehensive enterprise integration plans.
  • Defining milestones, dependencies, critical path, governance, and executive decision points.
  • Developing Day 1, Day 30, Day 90, and long-term integration roadmaps.
  • Coordinating planning across internal technology teams, business functions, implementation partners, and vendors.
  • Facilitating executive planning workshops and readiness reviews.

Lead Day 1 Readiness
Ensure technology readiness for transaction close while maintaining uninterrupted business operations.
Coordinate interdependencies across workstreams while proactively identifying and resolving integration risks.
Program Governance
Provide enterprise-level program leadership by:
  • Managing integrated project schedules.
  • Facilitating executive steering committees.
  • Managing RAID logs, milestones, budgets, dependencies, and executive dashboards.
  • Escalating issues and driving timely decisions.
  • Coordinating multiple acquisitions simultaneously when required.
  • Ensuring business integration activities remain aligned with technology execution.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Minimum 10 years of enterprise IT program leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years leading enterprise IT integration activities supporting mergers and acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated success integrating acquisitions ranging from $50 million to $200 million+.
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, building products, or distribution industries strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience building enterprise integration plans spanning multiple technology domains.

Base Salary Range $135,000-$175,000 annually
The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
