The estimated base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $195,000 per year, plus an annual incentive bonus and equity.

We are seeking a Director, IT Portfolio Management to partner closely with the CIO and senior leaders to translate business priorities into a clear, executable, and value-driven technology portfolio. This is a highly visible leadership role for a strategic operator who brings structure without bureaucracy, urgency without chaos, and the judgment to help the organization invest in the right work at the right time.

What You'll Do
  • Lead enterprise IT portfolio management, ensuring alignment to business strategy, priorities, risk, and capacity
  • Partner with the CIO and IT leadership to shape the IT roadmap, investment priorities, and executive decision rhythm
  • Establish and continuously improve PMO standards, portfolio governance, delivery practices, and reporting
  • Own demand intake, triage, prioritization, and approval of new technology initiatives
  • Oversee project and program health, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and escalations
  • Develop resource capacity and financial models in partnership with Finance and IT leaders
  • Define and track portfolio-level metrics, benefits realization, performance, and business outcomes
  • Prepare executive-ready materials for leadership, ELT, and governance forums
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers, analysts, and portfolio resources
  • Advance use of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management / PPM and related tools to improve transparency and decision-making

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT portfolio management, IT PMO leadership, technology program management, or enterprise transformation
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing project managers, program managers, analysts, or cross-functional delivery teams
  • Deep understanding of IT financial management, portfolio governance, resource capacity planning, and benefits realization
  • Experience with PPM/SPM tools such as ServiceNow SPM/PPM, Planview, Clarity, Jira Align, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models

What Makes You Stand Out
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, building products, or other complex operating environments
  • Exposure to SAP/ERP programs, enterprise application modernization, digital commerce, data/AI, cybersecurity, or infrastructure transformation
  • Experience building or maturing an enterprise PMO, Office of the CIO, or strategic portfolio function
  • MBA or master's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field
  • PMP certification (PgMP, PfMP, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, or BRMP certifications are a plus)
