Job Summary:
VTG is seeking an IT SETA SME in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will provide IT and cybersecurity support as part of a multinational AI project, offering subject matter expertise on IT networking, security, and emerging technologies while advising customer leadership on project initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Providing IT and cybersecurity support to the customer as part of a multinational AI project
• Providing subject matter expertise on IT networking, security, auditing, and other emerging IT/cyber related technologies (including AI)
• Advising customer leadership on the efficacy of planned project initiatives in terms of cost, schedule, performance, and risk
• Advise customer leadership on maximizing efficiency across all IT aspects of this project related to power, space, cooling, hardware, software, and licensing
• Identifying and representing customer AI/IT/cyber equities in evaluating impacts to the project driven by IT security requirements, multi-IN compliance issues, and multipartite information-sharing requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
• US Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) or relevant field and nine (9) years or more experience; Master’s Degree in STEM or relevant field and seven (7) years or more experience.
• Hands-on experience working with AI and operating in DevOps, and/or DevSecOps, and/or agile environments
• Hands-on expertise gathering and identifying actionable requirements for requested capabilities
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure design and implementation (power, space, cooling, connectivity)
• Ability to identify engineering opportunities to customer decision makers
• Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and effectively interact with developers, USG customers, other SETAs, and USG project managers.
• Polished communication skills (written/verba); impeccable interpersonal skills and judgment; and confidence in presenting analysis and recommendations to all levels of USG
• Hands-on JIRA and Confluence experience for project and internal team communications
• Expertise in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Access, Project)
