Description
12-month contract with the possibility of extension.
10% travel (must be willing to travel internationally to Canada and Mexico).
Will be working on multiple projects.
Completely onsite position. Need someone local.
Responsibilities
Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule, and budget.
Create scope of work, bid package, and project specifications.
Review technical drawings, provide feedback, and negotiate changes.
Evaluate electrical power systems.
Evaluate electrical and safety compliance to local and national codes.
Collaborate with 3rd-party Safety Compliance Contractors.
Evaluate power distribution, breaker size, amp draw, SCCR, and panel loading.
Specify/confirm electrical components for industrial equipment.
Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones.
Supervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment.
Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers, and equipment manufacturers.
Develop countermeasures for project delays to ensure timely project completion.
Required Experience / Skills
BS in Engineering, Technical Trade Certification, or equivalent experience.
3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of project management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
Bid specification development and contractor negotiation.
2+ years of technical drawing experience.
2+ years of industrial power distribution/system design experience.
Preferred Qualifications
BSEE.
Toyota project management experience.
Automotive paint process experience.
AutoCAD proficiency.
Ability to understand and calculate utility costs.
Understanding of PLC operation & programming (Toyopuc, Omron, Allen-Bradley).
Understanding of PLC communication (FLNet, EtherNet).
Understanding of OT/IT networking.
NFPA 70E/77.
OSHA 10/30.
