Job description

I’m an experienced Network and Network Security professional with 11 years in the industry, currently focusing on Fortinet (especially FortiGate) solutions. I’m taking the leap to start my own Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP), and I’m looking for the right person to partner with on this journey. This is a start-up and I am looking for someone who can grow with the company with very less tools at the beginning.

Who I'm Looking For:
Someone who’s passionate, motivated, and has a solid background in IT networking sales and business development—ideally with experience selling network security solutions to SMBs or mid-sized businesses. You don’t have to be a techie, but you should understand network security well enough to have meaningful conversations with potential clients and close deals.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Reaching out to potential clients (small businesses, offices, law firms, motels, shops, etc.)

  • Building relationships and explaining our firewall and security services in a clear, business-friendly way

  • Generating leads, meeting clients, and closing deals

  • Helping shape our early client portfolio and revenue stream

What I Bring to the Table:

  • 11 years of hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity

  • Strong focus on FortiGate and Fortinet ecosystem

  • Deep knowledge of security architecture, implementation, and support

  • Ready to hit the ground running with a vision and technical foundation

What You'd Bring:

  • Proven experience in IT/networking sales or business development

  • Understanding of network security concepts and solutions
