IT Governance Project Manager
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a mid-level professional who can operate at the intersection of IT project management, IT and data governance , and product ownership . This individual will manage project delivery using structured lifecycle methodologies, support product backlog and stakeholder alignment activities, and contribute to center-wide governance processes, including facilitation of portfolio governance activities.
This role requires someone comfortable moving fluidly between traditional PM structure, agile, product-oriented delivery, and governance and compliance functions.

You Have:
  • 5 + years of experience spanning IT project management, product ownership, business analysis, or data governance
  • Experience with structured project or program lifecycle methodologies
  • Ex perience d evelop ing and maintain ing project charters, schedules, risk registers, status reports, and stakeholder communication plans and producing documentation, briefings, and material s for governance and leadership review
  • Experience supporting or facilitating governance processes, such as investment review boards, stage-gate reviews, or governance committees
  • Experience c oordinat ing cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and governance stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum ceremonies and product backlog management
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across project management, product, and governance functions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with the CDC EPLC framework
  • Experience in a federal, public health, or CDC/HHS-affiliated environmen t
  • Experience with tools supporting investment tracking, workflow management, or governance documentation
  • Experience with project or portfolio management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or ServiceNow
  • Experience with data governance frameworks or data management or stewardship practices
  • Knowledge of governance committee structures, such as steering committees, governance and technical review boards
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent product ownership certification
  • PMP certification
  • Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
