The Richmond - Chesterfield Campus of Bryant & Stratton College is currently seeking a part-time Information Technology Coordinator. This position provides administrative technical support to the campus and is responsible for providing customer service to students, associates and college vendors. Availability to work Friday evenings and Saturdays is a requirement of the position.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor Helpdesk portal and handle work orders in a timely fashion
  • Provide technical support to staff regarding usage or functionality of IT products and services
  • Support software including (but not limited to) the Microsoft Office Suite of products, Adobe Suite, and other products
  • Image, configure, install and support all computers (Windows & MAC) and their peripherals
  • Provide support for the audio/visual equipment
  • Assure all servers and desktops are in compliance with College Security Policy
  • Identify and control LAN hardware and software configurations using Windows & Active Directory
  • Monitor inventory levels including toner and other supplies
  • Prepare equipment slated for salvage and prepare accompanied documentation
  • If necessary, liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors
  • This position may require on-call support after hours and weekends as needed
  • Provide support for Office365
  • Move, install, set up, and take down IT equipment as necessary
  • Facility event setup/cleanup
  • Issue student/staff ID, swipe badges
  • Distribute packages to designated areas and help maintain storage areas
  • Perform general safety and security duties while on campus, including quarterly safety drills
  • Communicate all facility and safety concerns to Business Office Director
  • Special projects and any other duties as assigned by IT manager

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Background check is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, with a diverse group of students and peers
  • Ability to recognize problems, think creatively, and ask probing questions to formulate solutions
  • Dependable and possess good follow-up skills
  • Maintain a positive attitude and handle problems in a professional and courteous manner
  • Must be available to work Friday evenings and Saturdays
