Spartan Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Fort Smith, AR, and play a vital role in ensuring seamless shipping and receiving operations. The shift hours for this position are 10:30AM to 11:00PM Sunday through Tuesday and 6:30AM to 6:00PM every other Saturday. Requirements:

Your Role as a Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator at Spartan Logistics, you’ll help ensure smooth and efficient operations by:

  • Managing shipping and receiving processes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Organizing and maintaining a well-structured office environment.
  • Conducting physical inventories on a weekly and quarterly basis.
  • Providing training and direction to employees when needed.
  • Supporting internal projects and assisting with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven customer support experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Basic Excel knowledge.
  • Advanced phone and email etiquette.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under stress in a fast pace environment and communicate professionally.
  • Experience using SAP and Excalibur is preferred.
  • Experience in the transportation industry, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent standing and walking in an office environment.
  • Ability to sit for long periods.

All candidates must successfully complete a drug screening and background check as a condition of employment.
