Job description

The Inventory Tech I is a well-balanced, skilled operator that feels at home and drives impact wherever they are placed in the warehouse or office setting. This individual works closely in support of Service Desk and other cross-functional teams to be a key success component of the company's asset lifecycle and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen and a capacity to dive deep to solve complex problems. Experience partnering with cross-functional business and technical teams is a requirement. The candidate must be a self-starter and be able to execute at both a tactical and strategic level with a strong attention to detail.

How You Will Make a Difference:
Physically setup Desk set ups/Hotel Desks, War Rooms/Events and monitors
Internal replenishment to departments
Assisting with unload of shipment received to the facility
Use of inventory management systems to accurately stow/move equipment to its location in the warehouse/stockroom
Fulfilling requests for equipment and providing support to adjoining teams
Collaborate with forecasting on shipments received, including parts and quantities
Receiving and processing equipment from suppliers and various sites
Package and prepare for shipping company
Knowledge of OSHA Compliance
Utilize shipping software and shipping address verification
Receive into Asset Management systems
Labeling and staging of equipment
Terms collection, suspend phone lines
Clean computers and assign to location
Hold for Data Wiping
Check asset into legal hold section, confirm weekly in asset management system that legal hold is still noted; Remove hard drive
Applicable asset retention
Images, and encrypts laptop computers (PC & Mac) for; numbers (FTE, Intern, & CW), upgrade laptop for FTE/Intern, replacement laptop for CWs, Break/Fix Laptops, Service Desk loaner and Event loaners, etc.
Configures and provides computers for remote locations within regional orgs (i.e. EMEA, LATAM, USC, APAC)
Updates Internal Asset Management system of record (ITAM) reflecting deployed assets
Handles issues during the laptop provisioning process including but not limited to; submits and follows up on tasks for missing AD accounts for numbers and Failures of Imaging Server and/or bugs with laptop images themselves
Configures laptops, desktops, and tablets with the specified OS, software, and hardware, appropriate for the various departments
Provisions and configures mobile devices for; numbers (FTE, Intern, & CW), upgrades for FTE/Intern, replacement phones for CWs, Break/fix phones, Help Desk loaners and Event loaners, etc.
Assign, suspend, and activate mobile lines as necessary
Test equipment to ensure device is non-defective prior to deploying
Mobile Carrier Support
Add and remove tethering and international data features
Reset voicemails
Troubleshoot connectivity issues
Respond to mobile alerts due to usage
Corporate enrollments and line releases
Lost/Stolen Device Management: Assign and remove devices from users, get information out of ticket system, wipe devices from previous users, and send phones to repair vendors
Task Management
Ensure proper movements and updates in Inventory Management System
Manage individual task backlog
Manage team task backlog and escalations, when applicable
Review and report out 30% statistical random sample size of close tasks weekly for quality and timeliness of deliveries
Monitor and drive task handling quality process across team
Manage task queue to meet or exceed targets, ensure quick time to fulfillment, and maintain high quality
Report out trending issues
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, operations, logistics or inventory management
Ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment; ability to re-prioritize on a regular basis in order to remain current with business needs
Self-motivated; ability to handle multiple responsibilities under limited supervision
Ability to influence others in a positive and professional manner
